WHAT WE BELIEVE
Historic
We believe that the Bible is sufficient, clear, authoritative, and necessary in its instruction for all matters of life including personal faith, corporate worship, and Christian community.

A broad summary of its teaching is presented in the historic Apostles' Creed:

I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
Reformed
Sola Scriptura: Scripture Alone
As the inerrant, infallible, and inspired Word of God, the Bible is the highest authority of all matters of life. It is the means by which God reveals the Gospel of Jesus Christ to humanity and instructs them to live as His followers.

Sola Gratia: Grace Alone
It is by God's grace alone that we are saved from our sin against Him and the eternal death in Hell that we deserve. This gift of salvation is not earned by our own merit, but is freely given by God.

Sola Fide: Faith Alone
Faith in Christ is a gift of grace from God to His people, through which they receive the gift of salvation. True faith involves trust in Christ as our Redeemer, and repentance from our sin.

Solus Christus: Christ Alone
Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man in one unified person, is the only one able to have lived a perfect life without sin, perfectly suffered the full wrath of God on the cross on behalf of His people, and grant them eternal salvation through His resurrection from the dead.

Soli Deo Gloria: God's Glory Alone
The salvation of God's people begins and ends with His plan and work. He alone is worthy of the credit and praise for this work, and so we seek to give Him the glory that He is due.

Semper Reformanda: Always Reforming
We seek to continually reform our personal lives, worship, and relationships according to the instruction of the Word of God and the leading of the Spirit of God.
Confessional
A more detailed expression of our beliefs can be found in the Westminster Confession of Faith; a historic Christian Reformed Confession that we trust as the most accurate summary of Scripture. You can read it here.
Denominational
We are a mission church of the Atlantic Presbytery of the Reformed Presbyterian Church of North America. You can read more about our extended family of churches here.
